Course Summary
CQI-27 Casting System Assessment, 2nd edition (special process assessment, 2 days). Automotive OEM customers set requirements for casting suppliers, so OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers worked together to build confidence in the processes of metal casting plants. The requirements in this standard benefit the casting industry serving OEM customers. For an effective process, there must be a system for checking process and product quality in line with the standard, reducing the risk of defects from the casting process in automotive applications.
