Course Summary
Today's risks can hit organisations so hard that they cannot continue operating, whether from natural hazards such as floods and droughts or from human actions such as cyber attacks. These situations create uncertainty for business, affecting not only the organisation but the whole supply chain.
Likewise, risks to the organisation's information, including personal and privacy data, are becoming more significant. Risk management is therefore vital to business activities. Risk management approaches are widely accepted and continue to develop. An efficient and effective risk management system supports good governance and sustainable growth.
Course objective
- Understand and determine risk levels, and set control and treatment methods for each level
- Make sure risk management conforms to the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 information security and privacy management systems
- Manage risk in practice: monitoring, measurement, data collection, measuring the effectiveness of the risk management process, and using data to improve risk management and drive continual improvement
