Course Summary
Organisations of every size face continual change in the business and natural environment, especially the effects of climate change, biodiversity loss and stricter environmental requirements, all of which directly affect operations, business continuity and competitiveness.
ISO 14001:2026 updates the requirements to reflect today's world. It requires organisations to consider external and internal issues systematically, including the environmental conditions that affect the organisation, such as climate change, natural resources and the expectations of interested parties, reflecting a more proactive approach to management.
The new edition also places weight on managing risks and opportunities with clear criteria, defining a risk assessment method, and planning and controlling change to prevent impacts from operations or organisational changes.
Building knowledge, understanding and correct application of ISO 14001:2026 is therefore key to adapting to global change and strengthening competitiveness sustainably.
