Course Summary
Problems in organisations, whether found internally or reported from outside, including complaints and customer returns, can have a severe impact and create costs of poor quality: both visible direct costs and the hidden costs that follow. Systematic problem-solving is needed to fix problems at the root so they do not recur, and to turn what is learned into organisational knowledge that drives continual improvement and sustainable growth.
Course objective
- Recognise the importance of problems in the organisation, their impact and the need to solve them systematically
- Build knowledge and understanding of problem analysis principles and a systematic problem-solving process, and apply them appropriately
- Build problem-solving skills and techniques, raising the organisation's management system towards sustainable development and its strategic plan, in line with customer needs
- Conform appropriately to management system standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and others
