Course Summary
Energy is one of the resources that drive industry and a major cost for organisations. ISO 50001:2018 is the energy management system standard. Applying it helps the organisation use energy more efficiently and become more competitive, while strengthening compliance with energy legislation and enhancing the organisation's image.
Course objective
- Recognise the importance of an effective energy management system in the organisation
- Build knowledge and understanding of ISO 50001:2018 and apply it appropriately in the organisation
- Build skills in linking the organisation's processes to ISO 50001:2018 and integrating it with other standards
- Help energy management system audit teams understand the requirements in detail and find improvement opportunities more effectively
