Rationale
FSSC 22000 is an internationally recognised food safety certification scheme. It covers the requirements of ISO 22000, food safety prerequisite programmes and the FSSC 22000 additional requirements, helping organisations control food safety hazards, build customer confidence and raise operating standards across the food chain.
This 1-day internal audit course, a condensed version of the 2-day course, for food safety management systems helps participants understand internal audit principles, the internal auditor's role, audit planning, checklist preparation, evidence collection, nonconformity reporting and corrective action follow-up, so they can carry out internal audits in their organisation correctly and systematically.
Prerequisite: participants should have completed the FSSC 22000 Version 7.0 Requirements course (see the requirements course).
